Xerox VP of Sustainability Wendi Latko on navigating ever-changing policy expectations

As a US-based corporation generating nearly half of its revenue overseas, Xerox is subject to a broad range of sustainability laws – and it is Wendi Latko’s job to ensure compliance.
As VP of Environment, Health, Safety and Sustainability, Latko oversees health and safety and environmental compliance, and is in charge of all sustainability reporting. At the time she spoke to CSO Futures for this interview, the company had been preparing to publish its first report in compliance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) in 2026, as part of the second phase of implementation of the law.
“The new regulations require a level of detail and rigour that we previously hadn’t really seen. So we've put significant effort into improving our data collection processes,” Latko explained.
