SAP Chief Sustainability Officer Daniel Schmid

SAP’s Chief Sustainability Officer of 10 years Daniel Schmid has announced his retirement. Matthias Medert will take the helm of the firm’s sustainability strategy starting early next year.

Schmid joined enterprise software giant SAP in 1998 and started leading sustainability efforts in 2009 as Head of Sustainability Operations, before being appointed Chief Sustainability Officer in 2014.
