Crown Agents Bank Head of ESG Charlie Bronks: ‘You can’t make money from sustainability unless you have it embedded at the core’
Bronks has made it her 2025 priority to “focus on the commercial link”.
For sustainability leaders in the financial sector, 2025 hasn’t started on the most positive note – but Charlie Bronks, Head of ESG at Crown Agents Bank, sees the anti-ESG pushback as “an opportunity rather than a problem”.
“If it pushes us to evolve, that's not a bad thing,” she tells CSO Futures. In her view, sustainability professionals can sometimes get lost in their own passion (and acronyms), forgetting that the real benefit of becoming sustainable is to ensure the company doesn’t become obsolete.
